Do you need me at the facility?

Usually yes, at least to get us through the gate and open the unit. Once we are in, you can stay and sort or leave us to it.

Can you clear it before the month turns over?

That is what most of these jobs are. Tell us the deadline when you call so we can be honest about whether it is achievable rather than finding out on the day.

What if I want to keep some of it?

Then it comes out and goes in your vehicle, not ours. Plenty of units are half keep, half go, and sorting on the concrete is much easier than sorting in the dark.

Do you work with facility managers directly?

Yes. Facilities clearing a defaulted unit can call us the same as a tenant can.

How do I get a price?

A photo of the open unit tells us most of it. Estimates are free.

Storage Unit Clearing

Most facilities bill by the month and do not prorate. A unit that is nearly empty on the first still costs a full month.

Clear the Unit Before the Month Turns Over

Storage unit jobs almost always come with a date attached. The unit has to be empty and swept by month end, or the next month bills in full — and facilities are rarely flexible about it.

That deadline is usually the reason people call rather than doing it themselves over a few weekends. We meet you at the facility, work straight through, and load in one go where the unit allows it.

If the facility has access hours, elevator rules, or a loading bay that has to be booked, tell us up front. Turning up to a locked gate wastes your day and ours.

Meeting You at the Facility

Send photos of the unit with the door open. A unit photographs deceptively — what looks like half a load is often a full one once it is out on the concrete.

We meet you there, pull everything into the corridor or bay, and you sort what stays as it comes out. Most people find that faster than deciding in a dark unit.

What goes, goes. We leave the unit swept so you can hand the key back.
